Triangle, VA – Bring your treasured items and old relics to the National Museum of the Marine Corps on Saturday, February 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to let curators and historians help answer your "What is this and what should I do with it?" questions.
The Museum experts will examine the item; give insight into its origin, and advice on the best way to preserve it. This event is free and open to everyone. Appraisals will not be done.
While at the Museum, take time to visit the galleries to learn more about U.S. and world history through the eyes of the Marines who helped make it.
The National Museum of the Marine Corps is located at 18900 Jefferson Davis Highway, Triangle, Va. The Museum, which opened November 10, 2006, brings to life the U.S. Marine Corps' rich history and honors the commitment, accomplishments, and sacrifices of all Marines. It is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day except Christmas. Parking and admission are free.
