Tun Tavern
Legend has it that the first Marines were recruited at the original Tun Tavern on November 10, 1775 by Captain Samuel Nicholas. The Museum’s intimate and cozy replica, offers a full lunch menu along with bar service. Tun Tavern can be reserved after hours for special occasions, hosting up to 36 for a sit down dinner or banquet-style reception.
