FOR PARENTS

Family Days

Family Days will be held each month on the second Saturday and will be designed for children from preschool through 8th grade to share with their families or caregivers. Specific age recommendations will vary by topic. Programs will challenge curious minds, allow exploration of new ideas, and offer unique learning experiences. The monthly theme will be explored through gallery tours, films, Storytime, and other activities.

Storytime

Storytime will be a program for very young children presented by a museum educator. In less than one hour, participants will be introduced to history, aviation, uniforms, flags, or art through stories, active play, songs, and other activities. The story, read aloud, will relate to the monthly theme and the featured book will change every Sunday (52 books a year). Storytime may be offered several times on a Sunday or Saturday Family Day.
